Pilot Activities

During October 2005, members Bill Blunk and Tim (Benny) Benham went to get their seaplane ratings. They flew N739KN up to Moline, IL and got their ratings with Quad City Seaplane Svc Ltd. Bill is pictured on the top right, and Benny to the right.
One of the reasons for joining the club is so its members would have a nice airplane to fly to various parts of the country. The first cross country of the club airplane was by Lance Nitschke on a short hop to Page airport near Oklahoma City. Lance's friend Michael Guard (pictured) had recently completed building a gyroplane that Lance wanted to see in person.
